Torre de Penegate | Carreiras S. Miguel
Built in the 19th century for the service of Rodrigues de Vasconcelos (chief parish of the Castle of Guimarães, with special royal license from D. Dinis), this medieval tower became the noblest and clear sign of the landlord on a land. It is thought that it was built over a primitive tower from the 11th century.
