Probably built in the 16th century, the tower and house of Gomariz is a manor of rectangular plant integrated in the typology of the so-called tower house. This 16th century tower is a testimony of the civil use of military architecture from the late Middle Ages and the evolutionary process of the noble rural house of the Minho.
